Florence, 8 January 2026 – The Teatro del Maggio Musicale announces that the ballet “Pas de deux for toes and fingers”, featuring Svetlana Zakharova and Vadim Repin and scheduled for 20 and 21 January 2026, has been temporarily suspended due to the ongoing international tensions, which have created a climate that could jeopardize the successful staging of the performance.

Subscribers of the Theatre may request a refund by 31 January 2026 at the Box Office (Monday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), or alternatively may send an email to [email protected], including their bank details for the transfer (IBAN, SWIFT, bank name, and account holder).

Patrons who purchased tickets online or by telephone will automatically receive a refund credited to the credit card used for the purchase. Refund processing times may vary and are subject to banking system procedures.

Patrons who purchased tickets at the Theatre Box Office may request a refund by 31 January 2026 by returning the original, intact ticket stub to the Theatre Box Office (Monday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.). Refunds will be issued via bank transfer.
