Florence, 20 February 2026 – On 18 February 2026, the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Teatro del Maggio met to review the 2025 management data and preliminary financial statements, as well as the monitoring report for the first two months of 2026.
Superintendent Carlo Fuortes presented positive results, confirming alignment with the forecasts outlined in the respective annual budget estimates. The Board also discussed and approved the proposal for corporate welfare measures and fringe benefits, in accordance with current regulations, to be granted to employees for the current year.
The President of the Foundation and Mayor of Florence, Sara Funaro, together with all Board Members, expressed her approval and support for the proposal, granting the Superintendent the mandate to proceed with the disbursement of this contribution for the current year, in compliance with the applicable regulations.
“We have confirmed this measure for the current year, as we consider it fair and appropriate, as already communicated to the trade unions during the December meeting. The issue of workers’ well-being and dignity is a priority for us; in this way, we have responded to a significant and deeply felt need that moves in this direction,” Funaro emphasized.
