THE WAM GAME IS A SHOW.
THE WAM GAME IS A GAME.
THE WAM GAME IS A STORY.

The life of one of the greatest composers in history told through his extraordinary music, the most significant events of the period, the characters who loved and venerated the great musician, or detested him.

The audience is involved in a sarabande of gags and narrative accelerations becoming spectators or interpreters at times: this sort of Guided Tour in the world of Mozart is conducted by four actors who play dozens of characters and who continually change costume, role, status.

A game, a divertissement but also a moment of reflection on the human history of the brilliant Amadeus, of listening to music (live), but also, we hope, a moment of “education” for the spectator. Because even being an “active spectator” requires complex skills: silence, attention, listening, immediate reaction to stimuli, but also, and perhaps most importantly, the acquisition of the critical capacity needed to untangle oneself from the myriad of stimuli of present reality.

Great music, and it goes without saying that Mozart’s is certainly one of them, overwhelms us with its transformative power. It can, if we are willing to listen, throw open the doors of our imagination and teach us, we hope, many new things.
