The concert “The Creation” by Franz Joseph Haydn is again available online on the Maggio Musicale social media: the audience measurement

“The Creation”, by Franz Joseph Haydn, conducted by maestro Zubin Mehta with the Choir and Orchestra of the Maggio, is again available online for viewing on Maggio Musicale website and on its social media for ten days, until November 23, 2020. 22.000 views during the pre-recording performance (November 11) on the Maggio Musicale, Agenzia Ansa and Anfols channels for the “Aperti nonostante tutto” project.

Florence 13 November 2020 – About 22.000 total contacts were recorded on the different platforms during the diffusion of the live recording of the concert conducted by maestro Zubin Mehta with the Choir and Orchestra del Maggio and with the soloists Hanna-Elisabeth Müller, Veta Pilipenko, Maximilian Schmitt, Michael Volle. After the technical problems related to the audio signal that forced the suspension of the concert broadcast live by the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and thanks to the availability of the Ansa Agency and the Anfols Association, “Die Schöpfung” was broadcast on the evening of November 11 recording:

  • Agenzia Ansa: 7.000 views (Facebook page) and about 3.200 (website);
  • About 500 views on Anfols website;
  • 4500 direct users on the Maggio Musicale website and YouTube channel;
  • 6500 on Maggio Musicale social media;
  • A total about 21,700 views.

    The contacts analyzed by Maggio Musicale have indicated the audience origins: 80.77% from Italy, 14% from France and Germany, and the remaining 5.23% from Switzerland and other countries.
    The Maggio Musicale decided to make available the live recording of the performance, on its website and on its social channels, until November 23.
