Carlo Fuortes: Superintendent of the Fondazione del Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino

Florence 23 March 2024 - On the afternoon of 23 March 2024, the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, signed the decree appointing Carlo Fuortes a sovrintendente della Fondazione del Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

Appointing Dr. Fuortes, Minister Sangiuliano declared: "I wish Superintendent Fuortes well in his work. With his mandate, he is called upon to re-launch one of the nation's major cultural institutions, restored thanks to the work of extraordinary commissioner Onofrio Cutaia, to whom I pay tribute, and to give lustre to its international vocation".
